Lea and her friends at a sleepover!! We did make-up and pics at 11:00 p.m. I was exhausted, but had a blast!!!

Lea was asked to be in Beta Club and the picture above is her receiving her pin. She also was nominated for 5th grade student of the year. She just barely missed it, but the nomination was an honor in itself. Also, about two weeks ago she won 1st place in Science Fair with her project "High or Low" Congratulations, LEA!!

Happy Birthday to a Special Girl!!

Happy Birthday Sissy!! It is our oldest daughter, Sarah's Birthday!! Wow! Where did the time go...she is 15 years old!!! She has been such a special part of our lives. Her tender spirit and humble attitude has taught all of us how to be a better person. She is a smart girl, determined to accomplish her dreams. We love her soo much!!! Most of you know Sarah and how special she is but to really know her and have her in your life is a true gift!!! She brings joy and laughter!! The silly things she does makes me laugh over and over again, like the other night when she was driving for the first time at night. She was attempting to merge into the left lane and looked out the back right window to see if a car was coming!! Oh, what fun we have together!!! I am so blessed to have a step daughter as wonderful as Sarah!! When I talk about how blessed I am I think of her!!! She loves the Lord and has dedicated her life to following HIM!!! We could not be more proud of her!!! Happy Birthday, Sissy!!!
